There’s nothing like a steady gentle rain to freshen up everything.

So it was with Deep Creek this week where welcome autumn rains have

washed away any traces of dust and brought new vigour to the landscape.

To fully appreciate this transformation take a stroll along the

wildflower walk through the Stringybark Forest.  There is a

freshness about the lush green vegetation that only the

magical properties of rain can seem to bring about.

Oh, and did we mention the smell of fresh eucalypt wafting

through the air?  Nature is truly a glorious thing to behold.
