2017 Fleurieu Festival launches in perfect conditions Post author:Southern Ocean Retreats Post published:April 16, 2017 Post category:The Deep Creek Gazette Opening day of the 2017 Fleurieu Festival at Bungala Park, Normanville The Easter long weekend is busy no matter where you go. Our accommodation is fully booked as are all the camp sites in Deep Creek Conservation Park but there is still plenty to do if you’ve left things a bit late and are thinking of a day trip. There is a real buzz on the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula as Easter coincides with the launch of the 2017 Festival Fleurieu. It was officially opened at Bungala Park by South Australia’s Governor His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC. Perfect weather, a rolling music programme and mouth watering paella were the key ingredients in this riverbank setting which has become a new focal point for public events in our area. Don’t forget, the Festival runs until 30 April and you can download the programme for full details here.
