Bruce the bandicoot at the Ridgetop Retreats
The Southern Brown Bandicoot is a fairly rare sight at the best of times
but ‘Bruce’ has made the Ridgetop Retreats in Deep Creek Conservation Park
his home for several years now.
Guests often comment that he calls in to say hello and see if there is anything ‘on the scrounge’.
Fortunately, they wisely resist the temptation to feed him as this is not part of his natural diet.
